Tasting Room FAQs

We are currently booking up 1-2 weeks in advance, most quickly on Saturdays and holiday weekends. You may add your name to the waiting list through our reservation system. For same-day reservations, please call (805) 239-0289 to inquire about availability.

If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, we ask that you cancel 48 hours or more in advance. Failure to cancel within 48 hours will result in a fee of $30 per person.

We appreciate your timely arrival, but will continue to hold your table for 15 minutes past your reserved time. Running Late? Please call us at (805) 239-0289 to let us know, and we will accommodate you if we're able.

Yes! Our executive chef has a delicious, seasonal menu available from 10:30am to 4:30pm daily. We are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions, so please discuss options with your server.

No. We are not licensed to allow outside food, picnics, or outside alcoholic beverages on our property.

Tastings start at $40 per person. The fee will be waived with a 2-bottle purchase or if you choose to join the club. Calcareous Wine Club members receive complimentary tastings.

Yes! We are a family-friendly winery. We do ask that parents closely supervise their children in order to enhance the experience of other guests. Please include children in your guest count when making a reservation, as this will determine the size of your table. This policy may vary for special events.

Dogs are welcome to visit for regular outdoor reservations, and must remain on a leash and close to your table at all times. Only service animals are allowed inside the tasting room. This policy may vary for special events.

Yes! We can only accommodate parties of up to 10 people with a standard reservation. However, for parties of more than 11 people, Calcareous offers personalized large-group experience (for up to 22 people) or private events (for more than 22 people), complete with picturesque views and your dedicated wine host. We are unable to move tables together, so please do not book multiple reservations. Instead, please contact tastingroom@calcareous.com so we can comfortably accommodate you. And please remember to include children and also those not drinking wine in your guest count!
