The 2021 Rhône-style wines show richness and structure, moving on from the struggles of 2020. Winemaker Jason Joyce had a good 2021, with three wines at 94 points and another pair at 93. His Calcareous Trés Violet Paso Robles 2021 (94, $70) is an expressive Mourvèdre blend showing accents of cherry, crushed stone and cured meat. Read more.
