Tasting Notes

Byzantium hues indicate a fully ripe and Cabernet. A bouquet of currants, boysenberry and plum balance with earthy notes of garrigue and leather. Blackberry jam, chelan cherry and a hint of white pepper combine with perfect acidity to form a perfect upfront palate. Immense rounded tannins fill the mid-palate, supplying hints of black licorice and . The new French oak shows up adding a subtle toasted richness to an extremely long finish. Will complex in the bottle beautifully for 13-16 years, becoming a perfect partner for a pan seared fillet mignon.
